FRIEZE NEW YORK

May 7 - 11, 2025

BOOTH B3

THE SHED

545 W 30TH STREET

NEW YORK, NY 10001

Perrotin is pleased to participate in Frieze New York 2025 with a solo presentation of seven new paintings by Claire Tabouret.

The French-born, Los Angeles-based artist is known for enigmatic portraits that explore the vulnerability of human relationships, oscillating between societal restlessness and self reflection. On our booth, Tabouret debuts a series of paintings that are inspired by our relationship to memory, nostalgia, and sleep. Her portraits are created through careful layering of paint, in this case in a palette of deep green and purple, which suggests a dreamlike atmosphere. Drawing from personal and art historical references, the work on view ranges from images of family members sleeping peacefully to animated self portraiture.

In addition to our booth presentation, Perrotin New York will extend our Frieze New York programming with an additional selection of works on view at our showroom, located at 130 Orchard Street.
