Perrotin is pleased to return to Art Paris with solo presentations by Belgian artists Johan Creten and Pieter Vermeersch. Johan Creten presents a selection of works from his emblematic and poetic series Odore di Femmina inspired by Mozart's opera Don Giovanni, alongside two recent bronzes from his politically-charged series C'est dans ma nature (2001). Pieter Vermeersch presents a new set of works including gradient paintings and paintings on marble. While Vermeersch’s process is often based on the properties of the materials with which he is working, these "abstract" artworks are paradoxically fabricated as photorealistic paintings, introducing another medium altogether.

On the occasion of Art Paris, we introduce our representation of French artist Jean-Marie Appriou with a new bronze sculpture inspired by Persian mythology, titled Šabrang. We also present a new photograph by Sophie Calle titled The Ghosts of Orsay from her concurrent solo exhibition at the Musée d’Orsay (on view until June 12).

Additional highlights include new works by Iván Argote, Jean-Philippe Delhomme, Mathilde Denize, Bernard Frize, Laurent Grasso, Thilo Heinzmann, Gregor Hildebrandt, Jean-Michel Othoniel and Xavier Veilhan, among others.
