ART GSTAAD

FEBRUARY 13 - 16

FESTIVAL-ZELT

We are delighted to once again participate in Art Gstaad, where we will present a carefully curated selection of works by artists from our roster.

A solo presentation by Korean artist Lee Bae will feature a bronze sculpture alongside new paintings from his acclaimed Brushstroke series. Initiated in 2019, this series explores the power of gesture, with translucent, undulating brushstrokes creating a striking illusion of three-dimensionality on the canvas.

Among the highlights will be a new painting by Bernard Frize and a photograph by JR, which pays tribute to refugee children worldwide. This powerful image—a giant portrait of a 5-year-old refugee—was featured on the cover of Time magazine. Additional works from JR’s series will also be on view at the inaugural exhibition of our new London gallery, opening on March 14.

We are also pleased to present a 1987 sculpture by British artist Lynn Chadwick, whose estate we recently began representing. Our booth will feature enigmatic works by Paola Pivi, including intricate beadwork and her signature playful bears. Additionally, we will display a selection of ceramics and works on paper by Sweden-based artist Klara Kristalova, whose pieces capture fundamental human emotions, evoking both rawness and vulnerability.

Perrotin is pleased to present a recent work by Jean-Michel Othoniel from his renowned Amants Suspendus (Hanging Lovers) series. The artist is currently exhibiting The Eye of the Night at the Oscar Niemeyer Museum in Curitiba—his first major solo show in Brazil. In 2025, he will have solo exhibitions at major institutions worldwide, including the Long Museum in Shanghai (China) and multiple venues in Avignon and Cannes (France).

Other highlighted artists will include Johan Creten, Jean-Philippe Delhomme, Laurent Grasso, Hans Hartung, Thilo Heinzmann, Gregor Hildebrandt, Takashi Murakami, and Xavier Veilhan.
