This pop-up is an opportunity to offer a new selection of prints, artists' editions, publications and objects imagined by the gallery's artists. It is also an opportunity to present a series of artists' works specially selected for The Conran Shop. Today, the gallery has eight Perrotin Stores around the world and its own publishing house. Offering a wide range of products - posters, books, limited editions... - and prices, Perrotin store aligns with the gallery's vision: making art accessible to all.
Growing up, my parents couldn’t afford to purchase art, but they loved it so much. We could always find something in the gift shop, so our house was always filled with posters. That experience has been central to the development of my gallery. Art is for everyone.
The first Perrotin bookstore opened in 2011 in Paris in the Marais, followed by those in New York, Seoul and Tokyo, with occasional sales outlets in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
The Perrotin Store website launched in 2014. In 2021, Perrotin Store opened a temporary location at Paris’s iconic Samaritaine department store on the occasion of its reopening, and in 2022 Perrotin partnered with the Bellagio Resort & Casino to open Perrotin Store Las Vegas.
The growing success of Perrotin Store goes hand in hand with the development of Perrotin Editions, which began over 10 years ago. A dedicated department was created within the gallery in 2019, which publishes numerous books and artists’ books, monographs, posters, prints, art objects and other accessories surrounding the gallery's artists. Perrotin Editions aligns with the gallery's exhibition calendar as well as artist events. The variety of its offerings, conceived in close collaboration with the artists or their representatives, allows their work to reach a wider audience.
